Identify the direction of failure

Work through the checks

  1. Check Service Status.
  2. Confirm the complete email address signs in to Roundcube webmail.
  3. Compare the device settings with the universal settings article.
  4. Send one test to an unrelated external provider and record the exact time.
  5. If there is a bounce, copy the complete diagnostic code and response.
  6. Check mailbox and hosting storage, forwarders, filters and DNS records.
  7. Avoid repeated retries if the account appears locked or the same rejection continues.
