Complete each field when creating a SiteWorx customer account Print

  • account, hosting, siteworx, reseller
  • 0

Choose the domain, package, identity and contact details deliberately so the account provisions with the correct limits and ownership record.

Applies to: Reseller packages and SiteWorx accounts

Overselling is disabled. Packages and SiteWorx accounts must fit within the reseller plan's available storage, transfer and account allowances, so package design should leave capacity for growth and temporary usage spikes.

Before you start

  • Sign in with the reseller account rather than a customer SiteWorx login.
  • Identify the affected SiteWorx account, package and domain.
  • Record the current package, DNS and account settings before making a production change.

Step-by-step

  1. Confirm the customer’s written authority and the primary domain that will identify the SiteWorx account.
  2. Choose a package with sufficient allowance and confirm the reseller has unallocated capacity.
  3. Enter an account username following the platform rules and use a generated initial password delivered securely.
  4. Enter a current customer or operational email address that can receive control-panel notices.
  5. Set language, IP or other options only when the reseller plan and platform expose them.
  6. Create the account once and wait for the confirmation rather than resubmitting after a slow response.
  7. Open the new SiteWorx account, verify domain, document root and limits, then provide the customer with an appropriate welcome message.
