Ticket status indicates who is expected to act next and whether the conversation is still active.
Support tickets create an auditable conversation linked to the customer account. One clear issue per ticket, accurate diagnostics and replies through the portal help staff investigate without avoidable delays.
Key information
| Open or Customer Reply | Tudor Internet has received a customer message and the ticket is awaiting staff attention. |
|---|---|
| Answered | A staff reply has been sent and the ticket is normally awaiting the customer's response or confirmation. |
| Awaiting Customer | A custom status may be used after a reminder when information is still required from the customer. |
| Closed | No further action is scheduled; a same-matter reply may reopen it where the portal allows. |
Before you start
- Sign in to the Customer Portal using the account owner or an authorised user.
- Have the relevant invoice, service, domain or ticket number available.
How to use this service
- Open the ticket in the Customer Portal and read the most recent reply rather than relying only on the email notification.
- When the status shows that Tudor Internet is awaiting you, provide the requested information in the same ticket.
- When you need time to gather evidence, reply briefly with an expected date so the ticket is not mistaken for an abandoned request.
- Do not open a duplicate ticket for the same incident; duplicates split logs, timestamps and decisions across multiple conversations.
- Close a resolved ticket or allow the configured inactive-ticket process to close it after the stated warning period.
Confirm the result
- The ticket contains one complete chronological record and its status reflects the next responsible party.
Common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| A reply by email did not appear in the ticket. | It came from an unrecognised address, lost the ticket token, exceeded attachment limits or was rejected by mail filtering. | Reply through the Customer Portal and mention the missing email attempt. |
| The ticket is closed but the same issue continues. | The inactivity workflow assumed no further help was required. | Reply to reopen it where available, or open a new ticket that references the old number if reopening is unavailable. |
When to contact Tudor Internet
Open a ticket through the Customer Portal when the checks above do not resolve the issue, when an action is unavailable for your service, or when continuing could risk data loss or service interruption. Include the following so the request can be investigated efficiently:
- The customer account email address
- The affected invoice, service, domain or ticket number
- The exact message and the time it appeared
