A discount or introductory price does not necessarily continue at renewal.

Applies to: Service renewals, upgrades and cancellations

Renewal, upgrade and cancellation requests affect future service delivery and billing. Check the effective date, data-retention implications and any non-refundable third-party charges before confirming a change.

Before you start

  • Sign in to the Customer Portal using the account owner or an authorised user.
  • Have the relevant invoice, service, domain or ticket number available.

Step-by-step

  1. Read the promotion wording.
  2. Check the billing frequency and amount due today.
  3. Review the renewal amount in the portal or invoice.
  4. Raise any query before the due date.

Confirm the result

  • The Customer Portal shows the intended invoice, transaction or service status and the effective date is clear.
  • No duplicate payment, renewal or cancellation request has been created while waiting for processing.

The requested date is not available. The product, domain registry or billing cycle has a fixed renewal or cancellation process.Review the service's next due date and submit the request before the published cutoff; ask Billing before assuming a backdated change is possible.
The service changes but an invoice remains.A cancellation or upgrade request and an already-issued invoice are separate records.Check the request status and invoice line items, then ask Billing to review any invoice that should no longer be payable.
